Wendy Field started her career as a registered nurse in 1982, working mainly in critical care for several years. In pursuit of a schedule more conducive to family life she accepted a position as a school nurse. During this time she discovered a second career in education. The next twelve years were dedicated to the classroom, both teaching and completing a bachelors degree in occupational education and a masters in educational administration. Currently, she continues to work per diem as a registered nurse and holds a full time public school administration position in New York State. Her educational experience as well as being a mother of two has shown her first hand the need for positive and interesting health education.
