Canasta Press was founded in 2001 as a publisher of children's books and educational materials. "Lungus the Fungus" is the inaugural title available in late Summer 2001. Other currently available materials include:

• "Lungus the Fungus" Teacher/Acitvity Kit

• "Dream World" a 24" x 36" full color poster tribute to Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech

Future endeavors at Canasta Press include titles (and accompanying educational support materials) dealing with health, medical care, food safety and other topics. Other illustrated books based purely on works of fantasy are also in progress.
