Fred Wickham received a Bachelors of Art degree from Syracuse University, specializing in biological and medical illustration. He has worked as both an illustrator and a graphic artist in multiple medias and has received numerous awards for his work. He founded Canasta Design Works, Ltd., an advertising agency, in 1988. Canasta Press, a publishing house dedicated to quality children's titles, made its debut in 2001. A father of two, he has plenty of inspiration and experience on how to capture a child's interest and to help make learning fun.
